The Kyoku Shogun Series: powerfully prestigious, progressively potent
Made of cryogenically-hardened VG-10 steel wrapped between Damascus steel folded 33 times, the Shogun Series is the apex of modern Japanese cutlery, retaining its ultrafine edge and resisting corrosion to outlast the competition. This knife is cryogenically treated using the traditional 3-step Honbazuke method to give it incredible hardness while retaining flexibility and corrosion resistance. Its hollow edge design makes sure nothing sticks to the blade.
Time-honored sword making methods make each Kyoku custom knife appear unique and result in a thinner, harder, and sharper blade than western knives. Combining advanced technology with ancient sophisticated craftsmanship, our knife's mirror-polished scalpel-thin edge and layered Damascus steel provide clean cuts every time. Its exclusive appearance is accented by a hammer-beaten wave pattern that gives way to a traditional Damascus steel design. The ergonomic handle is artistically accented with an engraved mosaic pin, revealing this knife's luxurious identity. The metal blade extends the entire length of the handle to withstand punishing daily use without sacrificing comfortable handling and balanced performance.
